I like her! I was a little worried when I saw that they cast someone so beautiful, because that's not really the point of Katniss. But when she's on screen, it doesn't seem like, "Omigod I'm so pretty...look at me" is the focus of the shot. ;P She seems to be able to pull of the tough/badass aspect.
What do you think?

I think that Jennifer's appearance is very specific. She is not typical beauty, and I think its good. Of course I imagined Katniss shorter and thinner. But Jennifer lost some weight, she just have round face, you cant do anything about it. I had some doubts at first, but after seeing interviews with her I just felt in love with Jennifers personality and her sence of humor! And after watching Winters Bone all my doubts gone. I think she will be able to show us real personality of Katniss!
What do you think about Josh for Peeta?
Im absolutely satisfied with Josh Hutcherson! I never knew anything about him, I wasnt aware of Josh as an actor, but I imagined Peeta just like him! And again, after watching interviews with him I knew that for me he is perfect Peeta!!!

Josh Hutcherson looks PERFECT for Peeta! Especially since he normally has black hair, I'm surprised and happy with how good the light brown/blond looks. :)
(I have an unfortunate association with him, though! I only saw him in one role before this: in The Vampire's Assistant, where he was a little kid: [link] YIKES.)

The cast is great! My only disappointment is Cinna. He must be in his 20s, not 40s like Lenny. But I can accept that. I want to see movie so much, but at the same time Im so scared that it won't be good as book...
